Introduction

Widgets are utility apps. You do not need to configure any data sources to use them. Instead, a widget has its own data. Any changes to the widgets need to be explicitly saved. A widget can be added to one or more dashboards. You can perform all widget management (create, modify, remove, list) in the configuration panel while in the edit mode of the main panel, you can resize, reposition, refresh and save a widget.

Widget Management

Creating a widget

Go to the configuration panel -> click on "widgets" on the left menu -> click on "Add Widget" in the top right corner.

Modifying a widget

Go to the configuration panel -> click on "widgets" on the left menu -> Find the widget row you would like to modify -> Click on the gear icon to modify

Deleting a widget

Go to the configuration panel -> click on "widgets" on the left menu -> Find the widget row you would like to delete -> Click on the cross icon to delete

Editing Widget Data on Dashboards

A widget has two modes: editable mode and display mode. The display mode presents the widget in a read-only style, while the edit mode enables users to edit the widget content. To turn on the edit mode, first, switch the dashboard into edit mode in the main panel, then on the widget header, click on the pencil icon to turn the widget into edit mode. After every widget editing, you must save the widget by clicking on the save icon on the widget header.

Widget types

We offer a rich library of widgets on MyBoardToday. You can find reference guides on all of them under this page.
