Introduction
Tiles are visualisation of source data. For example, a table, a pie chart or a line chart. In order to use a tile, you need to create a data source. Many times, a raw data source does not come in the desirable format. In this situation, you need to create a data processor to transform the original data source. A tile can be added to one or more dashboards. You can perform all tile management (create, modify, remove, list) in the configuration panel while in the edit mode of main panel, you can resize, reposition, refresh a tile.
Tile Management

Go to configuration panel -> click on "tiles" on the left menu -> click on "Add Tile" on the top right corner.
Modifying a tile

Previewing a Tile in the Admin Panel
When you create/modify a tile in the admin panel, you can generate a preview. It works mainly on charts (line chart, bar chart, etc).
Auto Refreshing a Tile
You can periodically refresh a tile. This is configured in the admin panel when you create/modify a tile. On the last page you will see an option "Enable Auto Refresh?". If it is selected, you then need to specify the refresh interval in seconds. This feature is useful when you need a near real-time visualization, of which the underlying data source changes frequently. If you need a real-time tile, consider using real-time data source with Websocket.
Tile types
We offer a rich library of tiles on MyBoardToday. You can find reference guides on all of them under this page.
